So, it's February, and its cold and wet and winter outside, making this one sort of funny...

"A song that reminds you of summertime"

In Massachusetts, they play this song on the radio all the time in the summer, but never in the winter - something about it must feel like freedom from school even if the lyrics don't really go with the idea. Oddly, it turns out I don't own this song, so I guess that means I don't love it, but it does always, always, tell me that summer is here, because I've been trained by our radio stations to believe it!

Song Meme - Song 4

So, this one was difficult. The question is:

"A song that reminds you of something you like/love"

So, what do I love? My husband and family, naturally, but I couldn't pick just one song that reminded me of them individually or as a whole. I actually found a bunch of songs, and then felt like I should post all of them, so...too hard.

What else do I love? There are plenty of places and things that I adore, and I was whittling that down when I realized I have a whole playlist just entitled "Boston."

I love my city. I've loved nearly everywhere I've lived to some degree, but Boston is, and will always be, my home and I love it fiercely. I love its liberalism, its food, its bands, its sport teams (and its awesome "annoying little sister" sibling rivalry with its big sister New York), its blue collar in your face attitude, and its overweening pride (despite not always deserving it). So, in that vein, there's really only one song that I could pick:
